About CAANZ

CAANZ is an incorporated body representing the interests of members on issues affecting the advertising industry and agencies.

Our Purpose: To champion the contribution the creative thinking of our members makes to New Zealand business and society.

The Communication Agencies Association of New Zealand (CAANZ) is the industry association representing the interests of marketing communication agencies.

The CAANZ mandate is to:

  1. Defend the right to promote and advertise;
  2. Future-proof agencies;
  3. Recognise industry and agency achievements

CAANZ has 91 member agencies with a combined turnover of approximately $1 billion, which collectively represent 95 percent of agency billings in New Zealand. Members cover creative, media, digital and marketing communication disciplines.
